Alerion is a company that was born within the European Space Agency’s technology transfer program, adapting space navigation technologies for use in industrial drones. The company specializes in the development of autonomous navigation technologies through computer vision, high-performance embedded computing, and artificial intelligence, and data analytics software focused on the energy sector and especially wind energy.

Alerion offers Drone-as-a-Service inspections, where it performs inspections in less than 15 minutes per wind turbine and delivers a damage report and repair recommendation.

In addition, the company also develops digital twins of the wind turbine for better decision-making in terms of maintenance, improving the useful life of the wind turbine and increasing its energy production.
