BiMEP as a marine renewable energy open sea testing infrastructure has been designed to enable testing and demonstration of:

• Fixed foundation prototypes for deep sea wind turbines.
• Auxiliary equipment and subsystems.
• Offshore wind turbine floating foundation platform prototypes.
• Marine wind turbines.
