COMPANY DETAILS

CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria is the main representative institution of the Business Community and Entrepreneurs in Cantabria. The importance of business organizations in Spain is reflected in the Preliminary Title of the 1978 Spanish Constitution, which highlights their contribution to the defense and promotion of social and economic interests.

CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria represents and defends the interests of businessmen and entrepreneurs. It brings together, on a voluntary basis, the majority of self-employed entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes and from any sector of the economy directly and through its member associations.

CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria is committed to promoting a competitive economy and the implementation of a new economic and industrial development model for the region, enhancing the collaboration of all the agents involved throughout the value chain.

CEOE CEPYME CANTABRIA acts as a social interlocutor and provides comprehensive and professional services to companies and entrepreneurs: specialized training, legal and tax matters, economic reports, innovation research and advice on development, entrepreneurship and business consolidation, and environmental advice. Furthermore, companies are advised to increase their participation in European projects and CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria also stimulates their internationalization processes.

Currently, the organization is actively working on projects and business initiatives considered key pillars for the region’s economy: ICT and robotics focused on future factories and new production models, the circular economy, the new concept of mobility, the Silver Economy, or new trends in the agri-food sector. All this considering the challenges that new production models imply in people management.

In Europe, CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria is an active member of Business Europe, which brings together business associations from all European countries and represents European companies at the international level, ensuring that Europe continues to be globally competitive.

In addition, the entity is an active member of the Enterprise Europe Network, the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs with international ambitions. It was launched in 2008 by DG Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission to help companies innovate and grow internationally.
