ESTEYCO is an independent Spanish civil engineering consultancy firm, born in 1970. Since its beginning, Esteyco has provided independent, high-quality and professional services to both national and international clients.

Twenty years ago, we initiated our roadmap in the wind energy sector by developing the first precast concrete wind towers of greater height and capacity and since then we have been in charge of the engineering of nearly 2,000 built towers in more than 450 Wind Farms totaling +55GW, and more than 30 GW in built wind farms, in more than 40 countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. ESTEYCO’s know-how covers the whole process from development, design and certification to manufacturing, transportation and final erection.

In Offshore wind Esteyco offers substructures design, construction and T&I assessment services on offshore wind projects, from feasibility stage to site supervision. Moreover, ESTEYCO, as a result of its research activities, has entirely developed and patented the ELISA technology (bottom fixed) and TELWIND technology (floating), new disruptive concrete solutions for the substructure of offshore wind turbines.

ESTEYCO has designed, built, certified and fully demonstrated in operative environment a prototype of the ELISA technology supporting a SGRE´s 5MW offshore wind turbine, which was installed in the Canary Islands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1HaokUSulw&t=8s . It is the first self-installing bottom-fixed offshore wind turbine in all Southern Europe and the first one worldwide to be commissioned with full independence of costly and scarce heavy-lift vessels.

Both technologies are fully scalable thanks to the use of concrete, which will accommodate the future turbines of +15MW.
