IDONIAL was established in 2019 as a result of the merger of the ITMA and PRODINTEC centers with 28 and 14 years of experience respectively, which have opted to join efforts to address new challenges and provide our customers with tailor-made solutions related to the development of materials, advanced manufacturing and the digital industry through technological development and innovation.

For this purpose, the centre has a wide technological offer oriented to the needs of companies applicable to a wide range of industrial sectors and with an expert and multidisciplinary team with an interest in development and innovation.IDONIAL has a staff of more than 150 employees, with a high proportion of PhDs and a number of R&D departments such as Steels and Metal Alloys, Ceramics, Refractories and Raw Materials, Surfaces, Active Materials and Plastics, Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering and Digital Industry and Mechatronics.

Additionally, it has a Technological Services department, which includes workshop capabilities, structural integrity, chemical analysis and metrology. It is worth mentioning the ENAC accreditations with which it offers accredited tests to its customers.
In the field of renewable energies, Idonial has a wide range of activities to support the deployment of the sector, promoting the competitiveness of companies.
