IDOM has more than 20 years of experience in the onshore and offshore wind energy sector, participating in wind farm projects, as well as in the development of wind turbines, test benches or aerospace/component manufacturing plants and ports or their adaptation.

IDOM participates in all phases of projects including feasibility studies, logistics and port studies, permitting, EIA and resource-zone analysis, electrical system studies, design, engineering, construction, integration and commissioning supervision. IDOM has extensive experience in the offshore wind sector, including, among others:

• Industrial logistics plan for wind generator manufacturing plants in ports (UK, France) for offshore wind farms.
• Resource and area reserve studies in Spain
• Participation in Wikinger, EA1, EA Hub (1N, & 2), St. Brieuc and Baltic Eagle offshore wind farms.
• More than 12 test bench installations for the wind energy sector.
• R&D projects: Seapower (Design of innovative solutions for jackets), Wind2Grid (Design of floating substation for offshore wind farms) & OC6.

IDOM is also present in the wave energy sector with the study of different technologies, (including its own technology Marmok-A5) as well as planning studies.
